Has the Job Market improved?

Is the economy picking up? Lots of conflicting reports from the news on television but if the recent article in NY Times is anything to go by, jobs are still scarce or rather people who have been laid off are having some serious problems getting jobs.

Employers are reluctant to hire over-qualified candidates and many who have been laid off were holding high posts being professionals themselves. Some have gone to the extent of down-playing their qualifications just to secure a job.

Jobs in Philadelphia

I think economic conditions are improving. Dow Jones was up yesterday as more jobs are available. At least there are jobs in south philadelphia I understand.

When there are more jobs available, people will feel better and better able to take care of their health as there is money to put better food on the table. I sure hope the good trend continues to improve.
